But really, who wouldn’t want to watch Melissa Etheridge sing if you’re on the same boat?

Since the release of her critically-acclaimed eponymous RIAA double-platinum debut album in 1988, Melissa has been singing memorable songs like “Bring Me Some Water” (from her debut), “No Souvenirs” (from Brave And Crazy) and “Ain’t It Heavy” (from Never Enough).

The last song in particular won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal.

From there, she’s had commercial and artistic hits with her fourth album, Yes I Am, like “I’m the Only One” and the iconic song of love, lust, and longing, “Come to My Window,” (which won her a second Best Female Rock Grammy).

Her highest charting album to date, Your Little Secret, included the hit single, “I Want to Come Over.” With her achievements, she’s received the Songwriter of the Year honor at the ASCAP Pop Awards and honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
