Barbra Streisand at star-studded 2016 Tony Awards

Barbra Streisand - 2016 Tony Awards
After 46 years, show business icon and Queen of the Divas Barbra Streisand will be making an appearance at the 2016 Tony Awards.

Streisand will be one of the presenters at the 2016 Tony Awards, though organizers have been tight-lipped on the details.

Not enough for you to watch it? How about if you add Oprah Winfrey, Cate Blanchett, Angela Lansbury, James Earl Jones, and Neil Patrick Harris to the show?

This is the star-studded cast that will help host James Corden present the awards on June 12 in New York.

Barbra Streisand at the 2016 Tony Awards

Obviously, it’s something that Streisand is set to make an appearance at the 2016 Tony Awards again.

The last time Streisand appeared on the Tonys, it was in 1970 to receive a special award after appearing in two Broadway shows: I Can Get It For You Wholesale and Funny Girl.

(She had been nominated for both productions but didn’t win an award. Her award in 1970 was an honorary Star of the Decade.)

Moreover, Streisand’s third long-awaited Broadway album will be released this 2016 called ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway.

Prior to this, her first two Broadway albums in 1985 and 1993 both went multi-platinum.

Stars to present at the 2016 Tony Awards

Streisand isn’t the only star who’ll be appearing at the 2016 Tony Awards, though she’s definitely a major draw. James Corden, who currently powers The Late Late Show, will be the host for the night.

Likewise, Oprah Winfrey, Cate Blanchett, Steve Martin, James Earl Jones, Neil Patrick Harris, and Carole King will be there to present the awards.

Other stars include: Claire Danes, Edie, Brickell, Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniel Dae Kim, Audra McDonald, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Sean Hayes, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Marlee Matlin, and Uzo Aduba.

Also present on that night will be Blair Underwood, Andrew Rannells, Saoirse Ronan, Patina Miller, and Nathan Lane.
