POLICTICS, POLITICS, POLITICS… the time has come. This month is going to be historical or is that hysterical? Between the Presidential candidates and Proposition 8, who can sleep???!!!! Hey, I’m thinking ‘bout the possibilities??!!! Imagine being a gay/lesbo wedding crasher!!! I mean come on!! The party favors would be surreal and the decorations to die for!!! If same-sex marriages are allowed to continue, y’all will see me at plenty of your weddings. Please, I won’t cause too much ruckus.. I just want a teeny piece of cake!!!! Okay…..I might knock a few lesbos over to catch the bouquet.!! But at least, I’ll be throwing my organic brown rice atcha.. Other than that, I won’t be a bother... Alright, alright, I’ll get down to business... <grumble>

Don’tcha just love Palm Springs California? At this time of year, the desert is simply magnificent. Not only can you take in the beauty of this place but enjoy a Pride Festival while you’re at it!!! GREATER PALM SPRINGS PRIDE FESTIVAL will be happening the weekend of November 1-2 and is entitled “Winds of Change.” The event will take place both days at the Palm Springs Stadium from 10am to 8pm. On Sunday, parade around during Greater Palm Springs’ Parade along Palm Canyon Drive to Ramon Road. See I told you there are always Hotspots happening from the desert to the seas! And of course during every season of the year!! So I don’t want any of you sitting at home all alone. Wipe those misty eyes and join some of these events. Life is too damn short I tell ya... And so is Billy Barty. Hahahah, Remember that guy? Ah forget it. Probably half of you won’t know who I’m talking about because it was before you were born!!!!! I headed down to DEBRA’S in Long Beach, California. Debra’s has an all-women’s night at Ripples every Friday night and has been a huge success for 3 years. I personally had a blast. A great group of gals work the place plus they have Go-Go dancers, drink specials, popcorn and karaoke. The karaoke is a kick! It doesn’t matter if you can sing like a diva or screech like a bird, it’s just something fun to do whether whatever age. There’s often a theme happening too! What really rocks is the parking!! Well at least for me because my parallel parking skills are like the first day at Driver’s Ed. There is a parking lot across the street from Ripples which holds a zillion cars and it’s freeeeeeeeeee at night!

KATZ BIRTHDAY- REUNION PARTY: Yeppers, it’s Moi birthday this month!!! While at Debra’s, (the real gal behind the scenes - Debra Rabonza), suggested my friends throw me a private birthday party there at Ripples. So that is exactly what is going to happen! The upstairs will be roped off for awhile during our private party Saturday, November 15th at 7pm. Alright, I’m expecting to see a whole bunch of you knuckleheads at the party. HAMBURGER MARY’S is another scoop of the town in Long Beach, California on every third Saturday of the month. So Snoop Katy Katz went down to check out this secret lair where I heard a lot of hotties frequent. Let me tell ya, the rumor is true. The place rocks! All kinds of fab entertainment, Go-Go dancers and of course, great people. And besides, if you’re a little hungry, it’s a Hamburger Mary’s chain so dine and have some scrumptious food! I don’t know about you, but great entertainment, Go-Go dancers and some fine a** women make one a little hungry!!! Ya know, something is just not right about saying, “hold the pickle” with this crowd. You know what I’m saying??? HA! And would ya get a look at Mary’s buns!! I mean come on now!!! GIRLBAR celebrates their anniversary this month. Girlbar, one of the top girl venues in the country, has been going strong for many years now. Since they have been such a huge success in LA on the girl circuit, they have expanded to Chicago, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. In addition to their club parties, they also host a huge event during Dinah Shore Weekend. Kudos to Sandy and Robin for keeping the lesbo scene alive and well another year! You go girls!!! For all you healthy food people and vegetarians, I have a hot tip on a place to dine when in the OC. There’s a health food store called MOTHER’S MARKET and they have this cute little café inside the market. There’s a Mother’s in Irvine and in Huntington Beach. I dine at the Huntington Beach location and love, love, love the place. The food is absolutely tasty and the servers are awesome. One gal server told me Saturday is Saturgay. Okay, that cracked me the heck up! I LOOOOVE Saturgays!! Way to go Jenny and the guys! Keep on rockin’ and serving great food! Mother’s is located at: 19770 Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach.
